At Cudmore Legal, we are cost-conscious
Our law firm is extremely sensitive to our client’s costs. We believe that sometimes, parties often flush their money down the drain. When we think you’re letting emotions get the better of you, we won’t be afraid to tell you.
The last thing we want to see is you wasting your money!
We consistently advise our clients on the most cost-effective means to resolve their family law issues. We will regularly update about your costs as your matter progresses. We don’t shy away from costs conversations.
At all stages of your matter, we will advise you as to the commercial reality of pursuing or continuing to pursue a matter.
Cudmore Legal believes in using technology to enhance your matter and save you money. With a wholly paperless practice, we’ve adopted a host of cloud-based solutions for document management and sharing. Our lean and efficient representation we provide will afford you a competitive edge over the other side.
We endeavour to provide our clients with an accurate assessment of our fees at the start of every family law matter, and we keep our clients regularly apprised of legal costs as they accrue. Where the complexities of your matter mean we can’t estimate costs accurately, we’ll do our best to keep you in the ballpark.
How our Fees Work
Cudmore Legal provides fee-structuring based on your individual needs. Depending on the complexity of your matter, we’re happy to tailor-make a fee structure that suits your needs and delivers value for money representation.
If you don’t have funds for representation available but have wealth tied up elsewhere (for example, the equity in a home) we can defer payment of your fees until settlement of your matter.
Where your matter is complex and we don’t know if it will be a bigger matter or a small matter, or for discrete individual tasks, a standard hourly rate might suit your needs.
With fixed fees, we bundle all your legal work into one lump sum fee on a stage by stage basis. This covers all the work that is required to be done on your matter. This fee structure is available on a case by case basis and dependent on how complex your matter is.
