Associate

Alina is an Associate with broad experience in Family Law and Domestic Violence Law. Alina represents clients in divorce, property, parenting and domestic violence matters. She appears in court on behalf of clients both in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and in the Specialist Domestic and Family Violence Court of Queensland.

Alina has an approachable manner. She takes a pragmatic and tactical approach in assisting her clients through difficult court processes. She aims to provide objective advice which is easy to understand.

Alina has extensive litigation experience, in particular matters involving serious risk and domestic violence issues. She applies this experience at the outset of all cases which is helpful in strategising optimal outcomes.

In most cases, Alina is able to appear on behalf of her clients in all court events up to final hearing (trial), which may assist some clients with limited financial means.

Prior to becoming a solicitor, Alina was a journalist and law firm media advisor.

She was born in Moscow and speaks Russian.

  • Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice – College of Law – 2018

I am passionate about Family Law because it’s dynamic. It requires an analytical, legal, and an emotionally perceptive approach. I am driven by the positive outcomes that I achieve for my clients. I understand that at times the court or negotiation process can be difficult. That is why I do my best to make sure my clients feel supported while I fight for their rights.
