Hannah Van Wyk
I enjoy practising family law because I get to directly help improve the lives of my clients and change their circumstances for the better. There is nothing more satisfying to me than knowing I have helped someone achieve something that is going to affect their life in a positive way – whether that is reuniting them with their children or seeing them receive a financial settlement that enables them to start a new beginning. Knowing that person is better off, feeling relieved and/or can now move on with their life is truly specialHannah
About Hannah Van Wyk
Hannah commenced her career in family law in 2013. She was the Practice Manager and Law Clerk at a boutique family law firm in Brisbane for four years while studying at university and gained practical experience and an understanding of the intricacies of parenting and property settlement matters, and a love of family law!
Hannah has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since 2018 and joined the Cudmore Legal team in June 2019. Always friendly and personable, she is genuinely interested in people – some might say she is a ‘people person’. Hannah is a driven family lawyer who is instinctively empathetic to understanding the desired outcomes, feelings, and fears of her clients. She is dedicated to her clients and focused on supporting her clients through the course of their matter with a positive attitude and approach. She is committed to achieving good outcomes for her clients and endeavours to reach a negotiated outcome at the earliest opportunity, with litigation being the last option.
In her time outside of the office, Hannah enjoys cheering on the Brisbane Broncos and the Brisbane Lions, a good G&T and being in great company (particularly that of her Groodle, Maggie).
